To My Companions in Royal Arch Masonry

The Grand First Principal, Most Excellent Companion Roland A. Paddle, invites you to attend the 152nd  Convocation of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons in the Province of Ontario at the Quality Hotel Parkway Convention Centre, 327 Ontario Street South, St. Catharines, Ontario, on April 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2010.

The governance of your Grand Chapter is subject to yearly review and ratifications by its members.  Elections for key Grand Chapter Officers are conducted and concluded by their Installation.  As a current or Past Principal, you have the ability to shape the future of Capitular Masonry in your District and across the Province.  Your vote and participation in the business session, count.

The Social Program for the Convocation promotes fellowship and provides opportunities for our “personal companions” including our ladies and guests to attend numerous functions before, during and after the official business sessions of Grand Chapter.  The City of St. Catharines and Niagara Region are chocked full of sights to explore and partake of.

Thursday, April 8th

The Grand First Principal’s social commencing at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., hosted by Most Excellent Companion Roland A. Paddle and his wife Marjorie.  At which time you have the opportune time to renew old acquaintances, meet new friends, and be received by your Grand Council in an informal atmosphere.  Enjoy a light buffet with a cash bar being available.

Friday, April 9th

Grand Chapter will open promptly at 9:00 a.m. and call off at approximately 2:30 p.m. for the day. 

Mrs. Marjorie Paddle will host the Ladies program from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. featuring a fun filled program consisting of skits and presentations relating to the Past, Present and Future, followed by a light luncheon.  Ladies be sure not to miss this one and should you have an original Tupperware article with a story, bring it along.

Grand First Principal’s Banquet.  Social hour - 5:30 p.m.  Cash Bar.  Banquet at 6:30 p.m.  Menu will consist of Garden Salad with Herb Olive Oil & Red Wine Dressing, European Rolls, Rotini Pasta with Tomato & Basil Sauce, Boneless Breast of Chicken (Wing Bone In) Stuffed with Feta Cheese & Sundried Tomatoes with a Light Creamed Red Pepper Sauce, Roasted Parisienne Potatoes, Medley of Seasonal Vegetables and Vanilla Ice Cream Crepes for Dessert. Entertainment by the Niagara Men’s Chorus, whose members are joined by a common love of singing and are dedicated to musical growth, good fellowship and public service through performance.

 Saturday, April 10th

Grand Chapter Session resumes at 8:30 a.m.  In addition, we will close the Grand Chapter by noon.

A complimentary Ladies  Hospitality room  will be available to all ladies from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Our business and social programs being concluded, we then depart with safe journey to our own communities to work in harmony with our Chapters and those of our district for another year.

 As your General Chairman, I am supported by the Grand Chapter office as well as other dedicated representatives in developing your program.  I hope that you, in addition to your fellow and personal companions, can join us for this annual occurrence of renewing our ties to Royal Arch Masonry in Ontario.
