Our congratulations to M. Ex. Comp. Alan Donovan , our Grand First Principal of Royal Arch Masons of Canada in the Province of Ontario. Also congratulations to the Grand Council and Grand Committee members for every success in the coming year.

Companions of District 5, thank you for electing me as your District Superintendent for 2016/2017. I'm looking forward to the year ahead. My Secretary and District Committee members are also looking forward to working with you to solidify the foundations laid by previous Grand Superintendents.

My goal for this year will be working with each Chapter to "Raise Your Bar". This goal contains three focus areas: Increased awareness of Capitular Masonry, Increased Chapter collaboration and Enhanced meeting cadence.

Companions we are all well aware of the benefits of Capitular Masonry. We need to consistently share these benefits with Master Masons as they are our future Companions.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts, suggestions and sharing of experiences in making this goal and focus areas realized. We all need to participate in solidifying our Capitular Masonry foundation.

To our prospective candidates (Master Masons) who are considering joining a Chapter, we would like to hear from you.

What is Royal Arch Masonry?

Within the Chapter, you have an opportunity to complete your Craft degrees. There are 7 Chapters in District 5. To find one closest to you refer to this list.  Click on a Chapter name to see its map:

Grand Superintendent's Message

Companions:

Congratulations from District 5 to M. Ex. Comp Brian Douglas Van Sickle Grand 1st P., R. Ex. Comp. Alan Donovan, Grand 2nd P. and R. Ex. Comp. George Alan Napper, Grand 3rd p. the Grand Consul of Royal Arch Masons of Canada in the Province of Ontario for 2015-16.

I am also pleased to have Ex. Comp. Walter A. Trafford as District 5 Secretary. Walter and I have been acquaintances for some time we both grew up in Milton. And his ability to communicate with anyone in the Chapter and knowledge of the ritual is going to be a great asset.

Companions what an honour to be your Grand Superintendent of District 5 for the ensuing year. Membership, recruitment, Companions recently a concordant body hosted a District “Open House” with the result of earning several new applications. Perhaps other Chapters should consider a similar activity focused on both Craft Masons and Lapsed Arch members.

I strongly encourage you to attend the District Chapter of Instruction on Sept 12, 2015. This meeting will be held at St. Clair Masonic Temple, Milton ON.

Companions, I strongly urge you to support “ Release A Miracle Medical Research Fund “. The fund provides research and development to the causes of several medical treatments, including Cancer, Alzheimer, Autism, etc. You can also join the Million Dollar Club by making a donation of $100.00. Your support to these causes will be appreciated.

Once again, I thank you for the opportunity to serve, and wish everyone success in our Royal Arch endeavours.
